Speed is about how fast do you want to spend!

Speaking of drag racing-- did anyone check out John's crazy wreck this week. I understand he broke both his legs. That night he was all ready up and "shuffling" around the hospital. That guy has a big set of brass ones... and I think he may drink just a little bit too much coffee! God bless him!

HE HAD SOME CUTS THAT EXPOSED BONE, AND EARLY REPORTS STATED THAT HE HAD A COMPOUND FRACTOR. SOME APPARENTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT A COMPOUND FRACTURE IS. ONLY WHEN THE BONE IS BROKEN AND STICKING OUT OF THE SKIN DO YOU HAVE A COUMPOUND FRACTURE. HIS ANKLE WAS BROKEN, SEVERAL CUTS, SOME DEEP, & BONES BROKEN IN ONE HAND. ROAD RASH, LIKE SHINE SAID. HE IS ONE SORE fast talker, and LOVED by many.

In the video, Force's car is on the right.
When he pulled the chutes, the car broke in half and the body went left
across the track into Bernstein's car.     Look closely on the right
and you'll see the back half of Force's car tumbling.
The cameraman panned left, leaving Force out of site, but you get
a good glimpse of what it was like.

If you were at the starting line looking down the track the car in the right lane was ahead, he drifted over to the center line and clipped two lane markers. You can see them fly UNDER John's car, and most likely played a role in the wreck. A tire blew and too did major damage.

I am just glad John is alive to fight another day. I love John and am always so jealous when I hear from vendors of ours that they know him or have run around with him. Maybe our new friend Chris from Speed Dawg will tell us his funny John Force story. Or do any of the rest of you know him well enough to make me jealous??

Me too! The guy is a class act-- He must slip nitro in his coffee in the morning. Dude lives full on! I've been rooting for him since I was in high school...

I have been a mopar person since i owned my first in 1965, but I alway pull for John Force, regardless of who or what he is running against. He and Don Gartlist are the definition of drag racing. I think the man has a heart as big as all outdoors. Just seems like a heckva nice guy.

Hope he will be back really soon.
