Checked it and I have appro.1/4,my problem is when I start car and vac.goes to booster pedal is down below half way .I relize pedal will drop with vac but my brake pedal and gas pedal are so close together I hit gas when braking.Guess I will see if I can get a offset brake pedal to move it to left or maybe bend brake arm where pedal attaches.

gene,

had the same problem with mine as far as the pedals being too close. my brake pedal rod came up thru the floor & at the top, bent to the right 90 degrees for the pedal to bolt on. i cut the end off , flipped it to the left side & rewelded. that alone gave me about 2.5" in clearance. also check the type of pedal you are using. mine has two threaded holes. one in the center & another one is offset. by using the offset hole, it gave me another inch, for a total of about 3.5" it's much more "user friendly" now.

Thanks for all suggestions and sellersrodshop I did check my pedal and it does have two mounting holes and by moving to other hole it gave me about 1"more clearance which was a big help.Again thank you:
