I'm searching for a junkyard steering column, with tilt and without column shift. I need one 34 to 35 inches long. Any ideas what vehicle offers such criteria ?

Thanks,

Sach

Woo Hoo TPI! You share my madness Richard!

I have a column from a TransAm. Nice looking unit and tilt. The wiring plugs directly into the "Painless" wiring kit I have. But, I do not know the length-- I will check it for you later today and give you the length.

I was going to say Trans Am also... I have one that I added 3 or 4 inches to the length... it plugged right into Ron Francis kit... let me know if you need it... Al 866-787-6337

Look at the mid to late chevy pick up trucks. They usually work. A lot of them were floor manual shift.

Richard-- the T/A steering column is only about 30" from the floor flange to the base of the wheel. It is 36" total (out to the end of the shaft).

Big Al's extended one sounds ideal for you.
