When measuring the back space, (offset) how much room do you allow? for body roll.

That depends alot on your setup. a corvette rear needs more room than a conventional rear which i try to keep an inch or more from the tire. Mine seem to rub a little now and then no matter what.

Tim, that would be great. This winter i'll be buying new wheels, and that's where i have trouble with is the offset.

it a Ford 8" drums brakes. How much extra should i allow for body roll. (1" like BigDude said)?

I'm putting them on another 34 chevy.

Rick is the car your avator? Its a little hard to tell if your running a staggered offset but if I had to guess. I would say your running American Racing TT IIs 15x6 with a 3.75 B/S and a 15x7 with the same B/S . Dixie is right your currant wheel set up is a good place to start. The best way would be to give me a call 317 541-9590. I can talk faster than I can type.

I sold the one in the avator. The 3.75 is that the standard offset on wheels? The 34 chevy i have now, have 15's all around. and was thinking of 17's rear. (like the one in my avator) But i know the sidewall on the tire will not as bowed out side wall.

I'm trying to get them up into the rear fender. (the ones on there now the side wall is 1/4 inch from the finder. But i havn't measured the offset get)

i hope this all makes since.

I'll be calling
