Hi All,

My latest project is my headlights. I want to use a 7" sealed beam (halogen) headlight but I don't want to use the Haggen frenched kit. I currently am usining the halogen conversion with my existing 39 glass bezel which doesn't work that well. I have seen this done on many cars but when I speak to the owners they tell me they bought the car that way.

Any ideas ?

Try looking for headlights from early military vehicles. Eg..1940+ army trucks used the same headlights as the 1936 ford except they were fitted with 7" sealed beam. And these are the same buckets as the 1936 lights without the adjustable stork but the sealed beam mount is riveted to the bucket. Theres no reason why you could not do the same from samples from the wrecking yards
