Finally got the 37 running this past weekend. Good to hear that LT1 fired up again. On another topic, however, can anyone tell me how to ID a Holley carb. I think the one on the vette is way oversized, but I'd like to figure out what I have before I look into making a change. Thanks to all!

Shine, I'll look for the numbers tonight. I expected to see numbers like 4150 or something similar that might match up to the Summit or Jeg's catalogs. Couldn't find anything close. Thanks!

4140 is model #. it will say list and 5 #'s.

Found the following stamped on the front of the airhorn: 80457-2, and below that 3381. Thanks for the help!

Thanks again. Sounds like I'm not ridiculously over-carbed. 350, +/- 9.5 to 1 compression ratio, stock heads, stock rams horn exhaust into open side pipes, close ratio 4sp w/373 gears in the 74 vette
