The weather in Syracuse was great on Saturday,mid 70's and clear. Just a light breeze and low humidity, made for a perfect day. About 6500 cars showed up. heres a shot of the preview for the flame thrower contest. They brought this car out inbetween the tractor pull and the demo-derby.

Sory toi have missed you, Dave. Wife told me you stopped by when I was out roaming. Good show. Good mix of cars. Weak on vendors - soap company, fudge company, sun room window company, get your picture taken with the Simpsons. Bizarre. But some dynamite cars. Hadda take a picture of the ugliest car there - a 36 sedan with an Edsel grille. Maybe it was a joke. Or a celebrity car. Who knows. And Santangelos in Liverpool is still the best dining around. The lakefront cruising loop was a new and great feature. But it seemed lots of guys didn't know about it. Will surely go back next year.

Made a day trip with some buddies on Saturday to see the event. Fantastic weather, awesome rides!Who could ask for more. Plan on attending 3 days next year.It got so busy Saturday afternoon they had to ask everyone to not cruise around due to the high number of spectators. Great show and plenty of activities on the grounds and in the greater Syracuse area. Next year we need to get a streetrodding.com group together and find a place to park.

My buddies all go on Wednesday, they go to a picnic for the Pontiac club on Thursday, all you can eat barbecue. With all the extra's it is a great event. Lucky for me only 175 miles from home. This year we only attended on Saturday since the wife is still recovering from her knee replacement several weeks ago. next year we'll be there for the weekend.
