Mine said "Now I know why divorce is so expensive" for about 6 months. Nobody ever asked me about it but I would have replied "BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT!!!"

I always dig your humorous tags Blksheep, keep 'em coming!

Oklahoma officials refused my license request, so I had one made for the front. Just making a factual statement!

I don't have any vanity plates other than state issue. The street rod has a street rod plate with a little t-bucket on it along with the plate number. The 57 plate just says "antique" with a number. A friend form Maryland whos loves the 50's and Doo Wop has a plate on his street rod that says "JTRBUG". I 've always thought that was pretty cool.

don`t have one personally, antique plates in ohio are too good of a deal(18 bucks, good until 2050) as opposed to$70.00 a year. saw one on a sportscar a few years back; I FLU BYU

I am too dense and not clever enough to come up with those cool sayings, so I just stuck with the one you see on the 32. Dennis is right about our Ohio historical plates, but I didn't want them dictating to me that I can only drive it to shows.

Denny, our PA's Antique plates are a good deal too. $75 for life. The younger you are when you buy them the better the deal. PA has some restrictions too, but I never pay them any mind.

I talked to a local cop at a retirement party a few years ago. He said as long as a car was obeying the driving laws he wouldn't bother them about whether they were going to a car show or not. He said he didn't care. But that was one cop's opinion. The one who would probably pull you over for that would probably ticket his mother.

Illinois is jacking up the prices of plates by calling anything you request a vanity plate. However my plate slipped by as a non-vanity Not very creative just my initials and 1968 but our favorite was my husband's old plate (lost it to the high cost of vanity plates)

IXLRR8 I may try to get that one again sometime.

Mine could be a vanity plate, if I changed my nane to FOR878. When I bought my 40 Tudor, it came with a Kansas plate which reads BLUBYU.

C'mon everybody, let's see some of those KOOL plates.

The oddest one I ever saw was GAYERRN.

I took it to mean Gay Emergency Room Nurse.

Any others?

Indigo Blue the color of the car and 41 the year. Had to spell it INDGO 41 so it would fit the spacing Illinois allows.

When I registered my antique '34 Michigan plates years ago. It was only $35 for as long as I owned the car. I have no idea if they still charge that or not. I never think of any restrictions of when I can drive it. The heck with them, I go when I want to go somewhere in it. I can't believe any cop would care or bother about it. Im sure alot of them are not even aware of it. Or care.

A coworker has a plate that says TI VOOM. Since we are in Engineering, I always thaought it had something to do with the chemical symbol for Titanium. Then one day at lunch, while rat racing through the local streets, i got it.....for in my mirror it said MOOV IT

I like the TI VOOM plate! Reminds me of the day I figured out what the street name of Moorpark spelled backwards. My neighbor has a little red sports car with a plate that reads NOT A 4RE.

Best I ever saw was the cutest middle aged classic Barbie doll blonde that I used to work with. Looked out at the parking lot one day and she had a brand new Z sports car with plates that read FROMZX. Told her that was great, she smiled and said yes, she liked them but she was going to drive her other car tomorrow and I should look at that one too. The next day, I perked up walking across the lot on the way in to work and there sat a fully restored 240 Z with plates that read FROMZX2. Met her ex husband a couple years later, he was very long in the face and driving a putt putt Honda.
