Hood Question

I was looking at the evevt coverage from Tracy Park. I saw a 32 Ford with the hood opening at the front. Has anyone ever done this before? If so, what kind of hinges do you use? I would like to do this on my 30 truck. Thanks in advance for your help.

heres a pic I took of mine if this what you mean. By front opening I built my own hinge system Maybe this will give you some ideas of what to do

That is what I want. Thanks for the pictures. Yogi's has a set of hinges that would be a good starting point, I think.

Tri-C Engineering makes a nice setup. I've used their latches too.
