I did contact Advance in TN.and was told 2800.00 which is far out of line as far as I am concerned. If this is going rate guess I will learn to like it painted.
I used to send some parts over to Sarnia, Canada. With the exchange rate, it was the cheapest and best work I found. Until I went over there about 6 months ago to have a 1940 Ford grille done, they told me $1400 US Money, and 3-4 months, reason it was so expensive was because it was mostly grey metal / die cast, alot of straightening and chrome plating. Anyways I ended up buying a brand new fully polished unit from Bob Drake for roughly $900, had it in 5 days, sold the old grille on the web and made $350.
