What does everyone think, this is the ride I have been building for the past 7 months, all fresh, just took it for a 25 mile shakedown today.

Hey Bill--- Nice lookin, how'd it run? Watch out for a call from eriq, Big Al or Tammy. Seems like everytime I show my wares and state its "For Sale" I get YELLED AT. They want me to advertise it here.
Glad to hear of the sale Don. Car rode good, just have to do some fine tuning- brakes, timing, more buffing some flat spots I missed etc. I spoke with a guy today who has a Blown Hemi 32' Roadster , black with red flames, go look it up- very nice car. E-bay - even trade, what do you think?
Beautiful car 007. I would have a hard time parting with that. Congratulations Don on the sale - (you love to get in trouble - don't deny it). Is that a 350 smc in there 007? Nicely done. Do you have any trouble with your exhaust dumping just behind the windows?

No I like the exhaust, it points backwards, so its not real loud, you can certainly hear that motor thump, but you can also still talk fine. Seams to run smoothest at 11 deg. advanced- 850 rpm
da34guy, I don't think you understand that running this site costs us tons of money in advertising, server upkeep and development not to mention taxes. All we ask in return from you guys is that you use our classifieds section to sell your cars and the forums section to talk about cars. We don't even mind if you plug your car such as in this thread as long as you have an ad for it.
I think that isn't too much too ask. The alternative is that everyone can just come here and advertise their cars for a couple of months and then we shut down the site for good. We've been running this site for almost 10 years now and we don't make any money off the site, we put everything back into the site so that you guys will have a fun place to gather online.
I think we deserve a little more than your ridicule don.
Thanks for all the compliments guys. The paint is PPG Cordovan Red with a very light hint of fine black metallic and Concept clear, the flame job is Dupont Hot Hues Chrome Illusion Pure Fire Prism.
I think the site administration can relax a little, in Dons defense he was merely making a joke to me, and I dont mind it at all, because I do plan on advertising my car for sale on this site, HE WAS KIDDING AROUND ! Obviously Don is one of the the members who contributes alot here.
I hardly ever look for cars for sale here, occasionally, but I enjoy the forum and a little bit of humor and good wrench advise mostly, and seeing other guys cars that they are proud of.
Frankly that tongue lashing against Don really irritates me, and you just ruined a very good Forum post in my oppinion!
hey streetrodder! Sorry to hijack your thread like that, we wish you all the best in selling your car. We bust our butts over here trying to do everything we can for you guys and sometimes when we see stuff like this, it may be in jest but it sure doesn't feel like jest.
I could probably turn them out faster if I was not always working on a someone else's projects! I try to build 1 hotrod for myself of some sorts every year for about the past 10-15 years now, and probably about 5-6 engines a year. And thank you for the compliment. And also, all my toys are for sale, everything can be replaced, and I have never built the same car/ truck twice. So if your serious, lets talk. I'm ready for another project! Thanks, Bill
Bill, I keep coming back to your pic's and looking at them again and again. What a great job you did - simple, clean, functional and yet unique and classic. the flames are bitchin' and the color is perfect for that car. You have done a fantastic job with this build - eye candy. Very skillful sir. Please post some more pictures of the car if you will - what are you asking for it if you don't mind my asking?!

I will probably be asking in the $45k to $47k range, maybe a trade with cash, not completely sure yet. But I am already planning my next streetrod. I still have a few items to finish, like crimping the AC lines, I am going to change the ring and pinion ratio in the pig, tighten up some interior pieces,( the back passenger area where the 2 jump seats are has been slightly radiused into the trunk about 6 inches so that it is more comfortable for an adult to sit back there) etc, just some small stuff, and fine tuning.
