Guys have a safe and sane (well safe any way) Memorial day. And take a minute to reflect on all our fallen heroes who paid for our freedoms we enjoy today..

Wife and I just got back from "The Run For the Wall" (RFTW). Always an emotional weekend but much needed.

Beautiful pictures from the Run, looks like a great way to honor the veterans.

This Memorial Day was a somber one around these parts. In a small town about 30 miles down the road a young Army specialist was laid to rest yesterday. He was the second young man from that own of 5,000 to die in service to our country in the last 2 years. When he was brought home last week, about 3,000 people turned out to line the roedway to honor this Hero. They stood for a long time in a steady downpour to pay tribute to him. Just a reminder that America still cares about its men and women in the Armed Forces. To all of you that served, "Thanks for a job well done".

Remembering in Iowa,

Mike
