There is a good article in the current issue of Hot Rod about 2 friends who built a glass highboy for under $12,000. Interesting read. Shows that cars can be built on a budget in a home garage very cheap. This car is no rat rod, it is constructructed very well. Lots of pictures. And swap meet parts, but main parts are good, no junk. This article is worth a look.

Very cool, I'll have to grab a copy off of the newsstand. Must have been a lot of fabrication and used parts involved, but there's nothing wrong with that, is there?

almost everything used. eng tranny ect, the body was a project somebody gave up on. everything else was swap meet or junkyard stuff. no body work and no fancy paint job. not a bad car to look at tho.
