Hi 31tudor

Is the bleach you are talking about just regular laundry bleach or something else?

Thanks

bleech white is a cleaner that is sold at anyh auto parts store. it was originally for white wall tires. but it works great on tops. wet the top with water spray on the bleech white , scrub it in with a soft tire brush and rinse it.

No problem Dave. Bleach White is made by a company called Wesley's I think. Go into any auto parts store and ask for Wesley's Bleach White. It's a white bottle with a red spray handle. They'll know what it is.

Start with the big boys, www.soffseal.com and www.steelerubber.com If these two don't have it I'd be shocked!

As far as cleaning the top, what type of material is it? Vinyl? Haartz Sta-Fast?

If the top is made with the same material as the boat seats you can use a combo of simply green and Bam they are sold in wal-mart. It seems to take care of the mildew and the dark marks......B

try year one and see if they have anything in the rubber dept. I have had a conv. since about 1974 and I always use bleachwhite on the top. It is just painted canvass if it is white. Hope this helps RED
