I am ready to paint my car. It is primed with enamel primer and block sanded ready to wipe down and paint. Can BC/CC go on top of this without shooting on a sealer? If not, can I go with an Acrylic Urethane or should I stick with Acrylic Enamel? I would like to paint without applying a sealer unless it is absolutely necessary.

the best thing you could do is ask that question to the paint supplier that you got the primer from. Stick with one product line when painting it will keep problems down to a minium. I wish I could give you a good answer but not knowing the product makes it real hard and I wouldn;t want to steer you in the wrong direction . Just ask at your paint store

Base coat is to hot to go over enamal, Urethane will work without problems. So if you want to use a Base coat/Clear use a sealer, A singlestage urethane or an enamal can be used without a sealer.....If you would like to test this, take a small amount of the reducer that you will use in the paint, Put it on a clean rag and rub a hidden spot somewhere and watch the effects.
