alright so i'm really going nuts about the muscle cars and hotrods again now that its spring (happens every year) i have some problems with my dad going along with all my "crazy ideas" i have. hes always wanted a 65' impala 2 door, but never found one and hasn't really tired to find one for that matter. but i just want to get some more muscle cars hotrods or what ever i can find and just kinda have them for future projects but i need to get my dad into this so he gets all car crazy like me. so how do i do that

Karl,
My advise is to take Dad all the Cruise's and Car Show's you can find. I don't know how close to St Paul you are but the Back to the 50's weekend June 22-24, two year's ago I went and there were over 11,000 pre '64 car's. If you can get Dear old Dad to go to that one it should get his juice's flowing.

Some guys just are not into it. Not everybody thinks that getting greasy is cool. I know guys that think fishing is boring--thats the same guys that will sit behind their car all day and do little!

Tell your dad you would like to spend more time with him. One of the ways to do this would be building a car or going to shows and cruises. Show him your responsable when your driving and introduce him to people at the shows.

My dad likes cars, but knows very little. Mostly he likes that we as a family get together and hangout at car related venues. It really is about the relationships. Cars don't care about cars.

Car Guy's are just Car Guy's. Your either one or your not. Nothing I could have done would have made my Dad a Car Guy.
