Well with all the responce I had with our Birth Date quiz I decided not to wait until noon.

There were 46 replys to the post with a total of 2633 years of experience building hotrods.

The average age of these 46 fine folks is 57.24 years. So it just goes to show ya that rod building is for the elderly. Now we just have to work on designing hot scooters and walkers. I don't think the care homes would mind black marks on the hallway floors :o)

UPDATE: THERE HAVE BEEN 85 RESPONCES TO THIS BLOG SO HERE ARE THE NEW STATS.

4214 YEARS TOTAL EXPERIENCE

AVERAGE AGE: 56.19

Ya know we could actually make a few of those wheel chairs pretty cheap, and sell them as novelties at Swap meets.

Your numbers are askew...there were 3 guys over 98 that weighted the overall average too high. Take them out and the number is somewhere in the youthful 40s.

Anybody else here ever see in person the original Henry Ford? I did when I was six years old! In 1946, his last birthday. He died the next year before his birthday. The city of Dearborn, Michigan and Ford workers had a birthday party for him.......where else but Ford Field Park he had donated to the city.

If they can put a 350 chevy on a motorcycle, then they can put one on a wheel chair! Drags down at the home! Count me in.

Now my wife is really going to think I'm Nuts if I actually build one of these.
I have a few spare motors, and I have access to lots of wheel chairs and parts, NO not for me, wife is a RN and a very close friend runs a in-home care business for people who need things like wheel chairs, oxygen etc.
I might do it. Any buyers?
