it is chrome paint. it looks great but it is a real pia to apply. at the price you dont want to exsperiment with it.

Hey Shine--- I tried it, as you said it's 1 hell of a product, but unless ya got sum real deep pockets and alot of time and painting skills an novice should stay away. Wouldn't have tried it , but a rep gave me a small test setup. Hell, get the part plated HotRodFreak. Good luck

bumpers on a car we are to resell. they want 1000$ to replate and 2to3 month return delay.

A while back I saw a TV program (don't remember which one) where they rebuilt an older Caddy for Billy Gibbons girlfriend/wife and used it (or something like it) to make the top look like chrome. It was sprayed over gloss black. Sounds like the same product. Couldn't tell from the TV how it really looked, but the painter was impressed. Might have been Foose, just can't remember. Remember what?
