I made it from s/s, still needs final polishing. A combo 41 Packard Clipper/38 Ford Deluxe shape. Now I need to trim the stock grille and side panels to fit around it. I took the beak off the front of the hood and the grille will fit up into it. For the rest I've also got 41 Stude tails and a 41 Lincoln wheel on the column shilft, 46 bumpers which I'll narrow a bit. Rear will be a good 3" lower.
Roof has 2 3/4" out, B pillars slanted forward, rounded corners...so far.

Lookin good Tony !!!!!!!!! Not tellin ya what to do, but food for thought--- How about movin the headlight s forward and down. Helped my Dad do this back in the 60's on the same set of fenders and the look was incrediable. Just a suggestion. I think if done in the right proportion it would flow with the chop. See ya in June Don
Thanks Don. Yes I've seen that done. I've also got a pair of '37 fenders I've considered using parts of to get the more layed back headlights. Once I get the thing sitting on it's suspension, at ride height, out in the open I'll have a good think about those sorts of things.
Front whel is just a 14 incher stuck under there to fill the hole a bit. Real ones will obviously be gigger diameter.
BTW, sorry about all the crap around it but sometimes I just shoot off some picks when I happen to have the camera handy rather than when I've got everything cleared away. I'm not really as messy as it looks!
I've decided to get an EMS tailpan now as the one I cut out has had a lot of previous work as well as rust issues so I'll take the short cut there.

EMS makes real quality parts, Been usin their products for years, everything fits like it should.
Fenders are staying as is, I'm using 46 bumpers now. I'll narrow them about 3 inches and still be able to just fit a plate between the over riders out back. These bars actually tie the whole rear together nicely, especially tucked fairly close to the body. The Stude tails wee just getting lost with that other setup. rodsnhawgs I considered the hardtop thing but decided against it. The B pillars are slanted forward. The tops are moved forward nearly 3 inches, after the chop. Probably not so noticable in the pix, but they work great, justa lot of work.
