I just bought a straight axle from a mail jeep and was wondering if anyone knew of a bearing interchange site so I can install chevy disc or drums thanks

Go to your local bearing store with the measurements of the bearings or take the disc and spindle with you. They will also have to come up with a seal.

YAWN.........Good morning everyone. You might try here at this website..http://www.skf.com/portal/skf/home/products (cut & paste into your browser). I am sure they will have an interchange both for bearings & seals.

Like Willy's33 says, get a vernier, measure the required OD, and ID of the bearings and seals. Any bearing house will be able to match them. you will have to make sure the jeep axle and the GM spindle are close in length so that the bearings are not sitting on the taper areas. ps cool Volvo
