I have found a leather wrapped steering wheel that I would like to use on my car, but would like to change the color from lite gray to a cream color. What would be the easiest way to do this?

You could possibly do it yourself, but I would suggest that you take it to a place that dyes leather regulary, like maybe a shoe repair store. I have a LeCarra leather wheel that originally was white but I had it dyed a deep purple to match my car's interior. It's been about 8 years and needs to be redone. The dye can scratch and chip with time. Going from a darker color to lighter color may be a little more difficult to do, but I would think a professional dyer could do it.

Orphans right but you can usually go to a auto paint dealer and buy a dye mix that you can spray on. But a shoe place might be better.

Don't waste your time and money with the dyes, find the material you want and wrap it yourself, Its very easy

Just FYI.... Lecarra told me that they have to use "real" leather to wrap them otherwise it tears...

A lot of the wheel manufacturers will wrap their wheels in whatever color leather you send them if you don't like the colors they offer. I know this is a used wheel, but it may be worth a try.
