jg black will fade and deteriate. it can not be repainted with urethane paints. best way i know to ruin a car. 30 bucks a gal ? think about it. decent paint is 100 a gal.

Stuff is JUNK. I wouldn't use it to paint scrap iron.

MY TRUCK WAS PAINTED 3 YEARS AGO WITH J.D. BLIZ BLACK AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS YET. I WOULD USE IT AGAIN.

You know-This paint is what it is -cheap. As long as the person getting it knows the circumstances of using it, dont see any reason it shouldnt be used. It should be stripped if you decide you want real paint someday and it will fade a little. But if the person is understanding about it-ok. Got a friend with that on his truck that loves it also. He said if he gets chips on it he just washes and sands it and repaints over it. Its easy to fix ugly for that price.
