Anyone have a source or website that you can take part numbers and find the application? I got the run of the shelves at the auto parts store but they cant take a part # and tell me what it is for. I got TRW bushings # HB1437 for motor mount bushings and would like to know what they fit. Back when I sold parts in 1970BC, (before computer), We could do this from the back of the parts catalogues, It seems they can't with PCs.

yep, the catalog should have a listing by #'s as to what fits what...some even have dimensions...get friendly with your parts guy & let him know that you would like the old catalogs as the new ones come in (beer bribery sometimes helps)

Believe it or not, there still are real parts catalogs in parts houses!! Yes, made of paper and all that!! Ask the counterman, or more likely, the manager, to let you see the catalog you need. Usually they're very happy to let you stand there and find your own information and parts to buy without having to spend "company money and time" on a customer who needs to look!
