She's "The One".



There to support, critisize and congradulate. There to gopher an 11/16 wrench, help clean up the mess you made, call you for supper and reheat it for you 3 hours later . She can polish billet to a mirror, wax with the best and find dirt in a street rod you never knew existed. She pays the credit card parts bill with almost no wimper, can get everthing she packed for the two of you in a street rod and couldn't be more proud to cruise sitting next to her partner. She's got the phone and address for every rodder the two of you ever met, knows it's a 32' 3 window from two hundred yards and unselfishly stays home when you cruise with the guys. She's your wife, girlfriend, sole mate, partner, buddy and mother of your babies..



If your lucky enough to have one, better give her a big hug today.....cause....

It takes a special kind of woman to put up with the likes of us. I've been with mine almost 25 years now. She's always been a big supporter of me doing what I do and I probably wouldn't have went into business if it wer'nt for her. She gives up her vacations to sit at our booth at countless events, answers phones, ships orders, and still finds time to do all the other needed things in life. She has logged more miles in the drivers seat of her streetrod than many men that I know. She even understands why the "quick" repaint of her truck (turned into a complete rebuild) won't be done this spring, customers come first. I think I'll give her a hug when she gets home. Maybe burn some late night oil in the shop tonight working on HER truck

Luckily mine loves the sport also. She has her own car and we drive to local shows in our cars. She likes to pick up her girlfriends and on long runs, they all ride together and chit-chat. She has always been supportive of all my dreams amd wishes. I would think the majority of us on this site have the same type woman. One who puts up with us and realizes we are just little boys playing with our toys..........Just a little later in our life's. We all should be thankful and I think we are.

Hugged Mine Today!! And she doesn't even do 90 percent of the things you mentioned. But she's there to help when I need it, and at my age I need it alot. She loves rodding as much, maybe more than I do. So I do appreciate my lady rodder. Life would not be as much fun and a lot more difficult with out her. She's the big reason why I look forward to waking up everyday.

Ditto to both, however mine won't let me stay out in the garage for three hours after she called me. She is more than happy to let me cruise with the guys, in fact she encourages it..........something about being in her hair. My best friend is my wife.

My better half has been around me for over 30 years and numerous cars, been through temper tantrums, buying and selling(never really making up my mind as to what I really want), loves to drive when I let her. Likes to go to the away weekend shows, tries to get me to go by myself to local shows(feel guilt if I do). She is the reason I enjoy cars as much as I do(most of the time--has a great eye for color combinations). Give her a big hug when I get home.

When we had a smaller garage, I was building my first vehicle and when I got parts done and wanted to get them out of the way, she let me store them in the house, (under the bed, in the closet etc.) then when I was helping a buddy do his car she let her car sit outside for over a year while I was using up all the garage space, She's a great one and has been for over 36 years.
