Ok Sixguns, your current LaSalle project has our interest. How bout some recent progress pix???



I have a 35' Pontiac cpe., which uses the same body as the LaSalle. I'm real curious as to what your doin with the rear tailpan. Mine, although in one piece, is real rough.

I agree with your wife... leave it till you can get it done right... where are you by the way... I know Carl could build you one and I'm sure lot's of other metal workers could also.. you may need to have the fenders on before doing anything in back... keep us up on how it's going... GREAT start!!!

Here is the rear with the tail pan removed, and the bad section of the rolled bead cut off. Im still undecided how to work this, I can pay $600 or attempt to glass it. So while im in thought I started on the Grill shell, this car was wrecked on the right front ,has Lead repairs so im sure its from way back in time. I also picked up an Aluminum Grill last weekend at the swapmeet that is real nice to replace the factory cast pot metal chromed unit that is not in very good shape. This weekend I got the suspension bars painted,welded up the tears in the grill shell and sat and stared alot at the mountain of work ahead. blksheep, Howabout some Pics of your project... OK, update. Wife and I just decided. If I cant repair it right myself we will pay to have it done right, So there will be no Fiberglass work done on the tail pan.
