I've got a polished Ididit column in my car and the turn signal wouldn't cancel. Took the wheel off and saw that the canceling device wasn't installed right and the signal switch was broken. I stopped at their booth at the West Coast Natls and inquired about what brand switch they used so I could buy a new one. Without even asking how long I've had it, how or why it broke, they offered to send me a new switch. One of the guys then started to tear into boxes and came up with not only a new switch but the tool needed to compress the spring. Using a column on display, he then gave me detailed instructions on how to install it. All this with a smile, and when I left...they thanked me for picking their column when building my car. I walked away thinking what a great attitude they had and how they genuinely were interested in my total satisfaction with their products. Without a doubt, all my future projects will have an Ididit column.

This post doesn't surprise me. The whole crew at Ididit are awesome folks. Their annual open house is in two weeks. I look forward to going each year. Since my steering column has seen better days I'm hoping to win one there this year. I think they give out like one an hour. Anyone else heading to their open house on Oct 7th??

Brady, I also had a similar experience with them. I have been thinking about replacing my GM steering column with a an Iditit column for a while, so whiel at the York Nats this year I decided to ask about a replacement column. I was met by Jane Callison who gave me a run down of current products and then sent one of their technicians with me to my car to check out my existing column and tell me exactly what column length I should purchase and what accessories to get with it. I was impressed with their willingness to walk and talk during a very busy show in order to give a potential customer confidence in making a good selection and purchase. That's good customer service and the kind of people you want behind your purchases..
