Posted by BigAlBre  -  11/11/2008 04:26 PM Ok the Extreme Makeover Project's Phantom 36 sedan delivery now has a new Phoenix 2004R overdrive tranny. this was incredibly straight forward... I was replacing a TH350 and everything matched back up... kept my Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft, flipped the tranny mount over and did a little reaming on the holes and it worked fine... the cooling lines went right back into almost the exact same location and the driveshaft yoke slipped right in... only thing left is the TV cable hookup and power to the electric lockup control and hook up the speedometer...with a hoist and tranny jack you could do this swap in an afternoon... I had to do some patching on my firewall so I pulled my engine and 350 trans... so if you want to go overdrive give Phoenix Transmission a call... and be sure to tell them Al sent ya....
