NSRA Southeast Nationals 2008 (part 2)

Well the NSRA show season is officially over with the Southeast Nat's being the last show of the year. 1523 cars were registered this year and it showed on Saturday as they just seemed to keep coming in all day. As always there were a couple that were "over the top"... one was a 37 ford (I think) drag car that loped through the crowd and the other was a 70's Rolls Royce blown, injected hemi powered with nitrous and full cage (leather upholstered) roll bar. Check out the pictures even the trunk nitros bottles, batteries and fuel cell were upholstered. Little Joe's Rod Shop sponsored it and every hour or so, much to the delight of the crowd, they would come out and start it up... what a class act this was. Naturally the rest of the fairgrounds were filled with beautiful rods and muscle cars. The Southeast Nat's is one of those opened up to later model cars and there were excellent examples of camaros, tri five chevy's, merc's, chrysler muscle cars, oldsmobiles, fords and just about anything else you would want to see. I even saw an original restored Chrysler Airflow sedan... hope you enjoy the pictures as the temperatures got up above 100 degrees on Saturday... many folks plan a Florida holiday around this show so think about that for next year..... Al & Sandra.
