  • New crate engines do not have a serial number. Maybe the buyer stamped his own number ? I have done many crate serial numbers....usually my customer's birthday plus his shoe size.

  • The block is made in Mexico Plant , from the start numbers made in the first month on the first day ! Lost after that ! Can't find the VP code This is in a 1955 Chevrolet Truck 4X$ Papco conversion and it's been in there over 30 years from the owner knowledge .
