What is your preference on "rod ends?
I have a 32' chassis by Pete & Jakes. It is equipped with urethane bushed rod ends on the hair pins, ladder bars, and panhard bars.
I also have a roadster that is equipped with heim joints on all of the road ends. What is your preference and why? I appreciate any and all opinions.

If you are building a vintage period perfect Hot Rod = heim joints in your hair pins.
If a millenium Hot Rod= teflon bushings in your four link. In 10 years they will crack in your coil over shocks. Then go to Energysuspension.com

I prefer the heim ends because it will allow movement in all directions and don't get the squeaking you can normally get from the urethane bushings.
Check your heim ends to be sure you have a washer behind the nut, big enough to stop the heim end from coming off the bolt if the centre fails. If the ball fails, the end can slip right off.
