route 66 festival 2009

  The Route 66 Festival in Springfield Illinois was held on the weekend of September 25th, 26th and 27th. We had great weather on Friday, Saturday evening and Sunday. There were between 1200 and 1500 cars in attendance with many of those making the cruise on Friday evening. There is something for everyone at this show including non car activities. It is a true celebration of the Mother road with bands playing all three days, a car auction and, much more. It was great to see most of the participants from last years Hot Time in the Heartland show. Also nice to meet Big Al. A good all around show if you can make it

  Went to this show, enjoyed it very much after the rain quit. Haven't been in a few years , but it usually is a nice show. Recommend everyone to attend!

  Bruce you need to attend next year and park with us!!  We had alot of fun - even if the pizza took 2  hours- LOL
