Respite - the best place to look for respite opportunities is to follow us on Facebook. Often they pop up in the minute and we post there. Also - reach out to your local churches. Some are opening doors to families with kids with disabilities (Lakewood, First Baptist, etc.)

Note that the Metropolitan Multi Service Center has been set up as a staging area for supplies of this type and they are working with the above organizations to coordinate distribution. Also we hear you can go there this Sat. (or maybe it is Sept 15) from 9 am - 3 pm to pick up supplies and they will have available volunteers to size you for wheelchairs, etc.
